Was hauling a skidsteer and lost boost/power. The down pipe at the back off the turbo came unclamped reattached and still no boost. The turbine wheels seemed to be fine no play or noise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wow, that must have made one heck of a rackett when it came loose.
Smoke usually means not enough air coming into the engine. Check the cold side piping from the turbo to the intake to see if another joint came loose.
Can you hear the turbo spin up when you give it throttle?

I agree check all piping. You may look at it and not even see it. You may want to loosen every clamp and re set all piping to make sure. It could be a slight crack of the seal on the side where you cant fully inspect sucking in too much air LOL. Clamp may seem tight but one side may have a spot where too much air is coming.

Yes we have visually checked the boots on the cold side nothing appeared loose, going to remove a boot to see if there is any boost, me thinks it's the turbo. Might have to give Ray a call.

Check all piping, and check the airflow into the turbo. I saved a guy in a parking lot the other day, his filter got wet, and with the dirt on it it became like mud and not enough flow.
Really high humidity and the air is so dense with water its like a constant mist here.
