    The's the main eye on the front of the spring. The point the spring pivots on, it's the main leaf. Yours is a 2nd leaf. Not quite as bad. Seeing that really made my day. When I discovered it, I flash backed to the hundreds of tons I had trailered with it like that.

    ****.i am glad you discovered it before something went wrong. When winter is over each year i put some oil on each leaf. Not sure if it helps but i like to think so

    Yeah. The truck was acting whacky the whole time I had it. When I saw that in the truck, I all but soiled myself. I can't imagine the hurt I would be in if it let go
