I have this exact truck and want to don't he same my concern is towing. Is it better to go with a 20 rim and short sidewall or is the 17 just as good as long as using tow rated tires? I love the tall sidewall look but really want a safe towing platform for a camper.

Either one is well with in a safe range, biggest thing is correct load range tires! And the obvious no stretch etc!

I went from 305/70 (34x12) Nitto TG on stock 17s to 35x12.5 Toyo AT2 on 20s and I could really tell the difference. The truck feels much more 'planted' with the 20s, especially when hooked to the camper.

The front is stock height. The rear is actually lowered 1" to give it a more leveled look. I did get slight rubbing occasionally on the driverside upper control arm but only if the situation was just right.

Suspension still the same with the 35s and get no rubbing anytime thanks to the offset of the Fuel rims.

Longer coil springs have a better ride than a coil spring spacer. I've had 7 Cummins, all were leveled as soon as I got them and I never had ball joint issues. PM me if you would like for me to look into options & pricing for you.

Will do! As we know times are tough & possibly going to get worse before it gets better.

Once things are close to getting back to normal I will dig into this more.

Wife & I are still very fortunate & have employment - For the wife that could change at any given time - Since she is in the Oil & Gas Industry.

So we are watching our spending.
