How to property set tune adjustments on my RaceME tuner

Just want to start off I’m new to this forum and have found it to be very informational. I’m very impressed by it. I just bought a 2014 Ram 2500. It came with a RaceME Ultra tuner. The touch screen wasn’t working properly and I got in contact with RaceME tuners. They suggested updating. I performed that and still have some issues with the touch screen. It switches by itself. Also I would like to know how to properly set up the tunes installed and adjust accordingly. I also want to add I’ve see some post that you are able to adjust line pressure on the trans. I’ve not been able to find that option. I would like to know how to set certain settings other than just the basics. Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I understand on the tranny line pressure, you can only program a pre-set tune that raises the line pressure.

The engine parameters, I have no idea. Things like timing, rail pressure, etc., I just leave on default. Also, I only run stock power and it does really well.

So, if anyone has any further input on the OP, I’ll be interested as well.

    Bob

The pre-set for the line pressure is that the selection for aftermarket trans or stock? That’s the only opinions I’m given. I’ve played around with the engine parameters and haven’t noticed any difference in performance or sound other than the the turbo spooling, and it hardly noticeable. I previously owned a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 W/EFI Live. I didn’t have a tuner programmer only the 5 way switch. I could always tell the difference between the tune levels. Thanks for your help.

If you have a ‘built’ transmission, then you would use aftermarket. Otherwise, you’d choose ‘stock’. I have the 68RFE with no modifications, so I use the stock tranny setting. My only gripe with it is the shift points. I tow a 15k pound fifth wheel and, in my opinion, it shifts into the next gear too soon, which results in lugging the motor. To overcome that, I just use the paddle shifter, which is probably better anyway...
