New from Oregon

Hello everyone,

Im not very techie so this form world is new to me.
I have a 16 Ram 2500 4x4 CCLB Laramie with the 68RFE, I deleted it with the race me ultra with only a few miles and now at 55,000 miles just purchased Rays tuning this morning!!! It also has the BD 68 protect plate installed. I’m a heavy haul lowbed driver/ Diesel mechanic. I’m very blessed to have a beautiful supportive wife of 11 years and we have 3 wonderful little girls. I enjoy working on all diesels but I’m a die hard cummins fan. These are the previous trucks I’ve owned.

1st 2004 3500 4x4 CCLB Laramie 24 valve CR H.O. With the NV5600 “Blue OX” the wife bought it for me too!!

2nd 1990 W250 4x4 RCLB LE 12 valve with the 727 “Silver Fox”

3rd 1998 2500 4x4 QCLB Laramie 12 valve with the 47RE “White Lightning”

4th 1999 2500 4x4 QCLB Laramie 24 valve with the 47RE “Ol Red”

5th is my current 2016 aka “Great White”

Yay !!! Another Oregonian

That’s awesome, I’m located in Albany, Oregon, whereabouts are you ?
There is a handful of us in Oregon, we’re spread out through the state.
Wow, I’m on my 3rd Cummins, you got me beat LOL, gotta love the Cummins!
And don’t worry about the tech thing, I’m old school, just ask the others haha, I sometimes have to have help when needed LOL.

I’m guessing I reply here! Anyways I love my 16, but... my 99 I put a lot of miles on, around 350,000 (in 5 years) it was like a glove that just fit. All my previous trucks were tickled to about 350-450 rwhp. Just good clean power. I do love my 16 though, just miss ol red some days.... I had the Borgstrom steering box on all of them but ol red drove 80 on i5 with a finger on the wheel, drove just as good as the new ones.

And I’m from Clatskanie, it about an hour to Seaside and an hour to Portland. Glad to see someone from Oregon!

You’re getting the hang of it already! I think people will always miss that one vehicle that we all get/got attached too. HA! I drive I-5 all the time, I live not even 1/4 mile from I-5. But if I ever see a white bullet coming from behind I will see if it’s you LOL, i won’t even attempt to try to catch up to you, the most I’ve done is 70 and that’s plenty enough for me. Wish we could keep all our past trucks!!
