    If you have tuning that disables it then that is good enough. I unplugged mine for good measure. If you return to stock for smog inspection then yes, you will need to plug everything back in, including the EGR.

    Oh, I do not have tuning (hopefully one day) I thought you meant you can unplug it and just live with a CEL kinda like my turbo Actuator. LOL

    Ahh, gotcha.

    Unfortunately no.

    Unplugging any of the emissions sensors/components without any special tuning the truck will eventually go into limp mode.

    Being in CA, I'm not sure tuning would be worth the hassle.
