    Switched Teams

    Hello Gentlemen,

Recently switched over from a line of Duramax’s. I was honestly gonna buy another one and get a nice LBZ from a guy in Salt Lake that had just been ran through but had a change of heart and thought long and hard about it and took off to Utah and picked up this mega cab and I must say I’m glad I committed. I love the SPACE!!The guy I got it from bought it brand new off the lot. It still has the PDI form and the owners manuals in the glove box. 88K on the clock and bone stock besides an old Edge Mileagemax 30HP plug in programmer. Stock exhaust, stock everything, still has the factory radio.
First drive was from Ogden to my house about 175 miles away and I averaged (hand calculate) 18.5mpg at 80mph so I’m pretty happy with that considering the size of the truck. About all I will do to it is a 5” turbo back with muffler, iPad dash with OBD plug for gauges, paint to match everything, new head lights, bed liner, new tint and seat covers then just let er eat!

It is huge for sure. My baby boy is in his forward facing car seat already and 2 other grown kids it keep the peace back there LOL
I’m happy with the mileage for a stock truck!

Thank you thank you. I did my homework and searched from corner to corner. I was ready to pay to truck one to my house from Florida if that was what it took.

The only reason I don’t want to tune it is because I know the 48 won’t hold much over stock. I do recognize the extreme potential of a FULL built 48 though but I don’t have $5k laying around currently so that my reasoning behind staying away from tuning. However will running a TB 5” require any tuning as far as the Cat goes??
