    Cummins Convert

    Good Evening,

Just made the switch from an 04 Powerstroke to a 16 Cummins 2500. Needless to say I could not be happier with my decision. I've been envious of the Cummins motor for a while, but I was never really impressed with the look of the Ram, But then when they rolled the 4th gen out I knew it was a matter of time before I made the jump.

With that said, I've been doing my research and I'm looking to delete the truck. I've read a lot of threads on various sites and it seems that Double R Diesel seems to be the go to for tuners for the 16'

If anyone here would like to chime in I'd appreciate any input on the subject.

Happy to be behind the wheel of the daddy of diesel engines now.

    Re: Cummins Convert

Thank you all for confirming for me the DRD is the way to go. I've seem numerous posts thanking them for their help and their customer service. I think when it comes time to pull the trigger I will be reaching out to them to handle the tunes.

Also there are a few other things I was curious about. 1. Grid heater delete 2. Air intake horn, thoughts? 3. CCV delete, seems like this would be cheap insurance to extend the life of the turbo.

This is all new to me as this is my first cummins and it would seem that fourth gens are solid platforms, but they require a little bit of work to truly bring them to life. I'm excited to start wrenching on this rig and really have the true cummins experience.

    Thanks again - PB
