    EGR tuning

Ok, so I have a MM3 from Ray with the EGR tuning. When I got it I was told to unplug the EGR. Lately I feel like I've been reading that you just leave it and the throttle valve plugged in now. So my question is what do I do? I went ahead and replugged them in. Will this make the EGR work again or is it shut off by the tuning? If its shut off, why would I be getting a reading from it on the MM3 when I go to the EGR parameters? TIA

Depends when your tunes were made. The older egrless emissions tuning required the egr valve be unplugged. The newer newer egrless emissions tuning doesn't. So if you plugged your egr valve back in and you see your egr valve position anything other than zero, then that means it's the older tuning.

If you want to run without egr...yes. However the truck will run fine with it plugged in.

While I guess I'll unplug it again. The reason I got it was to have it not run, LOL. Thanks Ray.
