You have 2.2.1 firmware on your tuner. The latest is 2.2.2 and it was just released yesterday. You gotta have 2.2.2 to see the switch.

Wow, did not know about 2.2.2'. Of course I was referring to 2.2.1 I should have been more scenic. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

    Updated firmware question

How do you get the background image to show with a .bmp file extension? I have it saved 480x272 24b but doesn’t show on programer. This is with the new update. I have the image saved with bmp extension but i have options for 24, 16 and another size bit. They wont show in the programmer

Ok, so the next question for @doublerdiesel is.......for those like myself who updated to 2.2.1 and are not planning to go the "switch" route, should we stay where we are on 2.2.1?

So if you do the update will all your tunes still be in the RT menu? And then a retune is required from ray to activate the switch function?

Yes you have to have your tunes redone by Ray to use the switch function. Also have to update the firmware from mm3 website.
