    EGT Cool Down

Anyone noticing extended EGT Cool-Down Times after the latest RaceMe Ultra Box tunes update? Ambient air temps are in the mid to upper 90’s, and I’m not towing currently (but will be soon - around 15k). Running stock power tune (don’t wanna trash the tranny). Changed air filter three months ago. Full deletes.

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

My EGT's take a while to drop when the ambient temp is in the 90's. I am running DRD tunes.

Even mine takes awhile after a good hard drive. Probably nothing to worry about but feel free to message your tuner to verify.

What temps are you seeing and how long does it take to drop? On my truck, it doesn't matter what the temps are when I pull into my neighborhood, by the time I reach my house the EGTs are below 350*.

Ambient air temps are in the mid to upper 90’s. EGT’s are not out of line when driving - just seems like it takes a lot longer to cool down to an acceptable temp prior to shutdown.

Ahh, gotcha. Yeah mine definitely takes a bit longer to cool down in the summer months as well.
