    Drop hitch/stinger

Those of you with lifts and bumper pull camp trailers (or other trailers) what are you using for a ball mount?

Im putting a 6" lift on my truck this week and will be running 37s. I don't think my previous drop hitch will be quite enough for my 30' camp trailer. Anyone have a recommendation? Something that has stabilizer bar attachment.

    Thanks

I have an Equal-i-zer 1000 4-point weight distribution hitch. It mounts to a standard drop bar so you can get what ever drop length you need.

Check out Gen-Y hitch. That’s what I have and I am very pleased with it. Very versatile and a well built.

You should be able to us any drop shank for a weight distribution hitch. I personally use Blue Ox with a 10” total drop I think. Of course I don’t need that much but it’s there is I need it and I have plenty of ground clearance.

I have a bulletproof hitch, 14" drop, works great

Have not towed anything heavy, but this is a solid piece. The entire assembly probably weighs close to 50 lbs.

Yes you can. I have a custom made stinger for my load leveling hitch. But in my case, I had to have the pin hole extended 1.5 inches. My tool tray wipes out my tail lights

Yeah Don't walk into that one. Or better yet, mine has that load leveler knuckle. I put it on in the winter for extra traction and it's painted a very bright Rustoleum yellow

I ended up just paying a guy to cut off the drop from my previous hitch and put a new bar on that’s 6” longer. $80 and works great. Just need to put a coat of paint on it.
