I removed the passenger side wheel well and used a tiny bit of red gasket maker to hold the gasket while I added needle nose pliers to clamp them all together for a quick install.

Also if you have the clamp exhaust, I added exhaust tape in-between clamps to elimate the rattle.

Wished I’da thought of that when I did mine.

That downpipe was a royal pain in the begonias.

Do you have to install a new down pipe when installing a 5 inch FLO~PRO?

If so does the exhaust usually come with a new down pipe?

    Thanks in advance.

Bringing to life an old thread, but I did the 5” and had no problems.

Yes things were a PAIN, but I ended the install with just the axel dump.

Today I decided to add the tailpipe section.

Bought a tip and all for it.

After adding the tailpipe section it’s so close to my truck that it actually hits on start up and turn off.

Anyone else run into this and what was the fix?

I'm guessing its the tip that may be hitting your truck?

The only thing that I would know to do in this situation would be to try and bend the hangers on the tail pipe section in such a way that allowed for more clearance for the tailpipe, or get a smaller tip LOL.

    Re: 5” Exhaust Install

I have 4 inch dual exhaust by FLO~PRO coming because with my Compound Turbo's pushes the downpipe to far back and it hits the firewall and the frame in front of the cross member.

I've tried everything to move it away but it always moves back so I'm going to 4 inch dual exit.

I'll post a video while it's being done.

No that is not the problem.

    It’s just a standard 5” 90 down tip.

I finally got it figured out.
