    Delete Advice

Hello. I recently upgraded my 2500 to a 3500 SRW with the Aisin transmission to better pull my fifth wheel.

I would like to delete the new truck as early as possible. I do not want to build much or any extra power, just keep the engine from breathing its own exhaust and get a better sound from the truck. Also, I am not looking for an exhaust that is insanely loud, just enough to hear the engine/turbo a little when outside the truck with no drone. From everyone's experience on here, what tuner/tune/exhaust combination would be suggested?

    Thanks, everyone.

A lot of folks here use @Double R Diesel for their tuning, check out their website and multiple positive reviews on this forum also. The MM3 tuner is awesome for monitoring engine vitals. Any quality exhaust with a muffler and the drone is minimal. I'm very pleased with the Flo-Pro 4" on my pickup.

I like my 4" flo-pro with the muffler. You can hear it outside the truck and from inside you can also hear it and there is no drone. I originally had the straight pipe and there was too much drone and vibrations in the cab for me.

Thanks for all the advice. I sent an order to DRD today and went with the 4" w/o muffler and tuning. I will post install pictures and thoughts once I get it in.

Congrats on the truck. Nice rig. My buddies ‘18 2500 is virtually identical minus the diesel. Those things are sharp. Can’t go wrong with DRD either, Ray will take care of his customers .
