I’m not sure if this has been discussed before, but the 5.9 intercooler is a direct bolt in to a 6.7. I used an 06 intercooler on my 08 and it’s over twice as thick, so it should be more efficient. I’ve been running this setup over a year without issue...it could be my imaginigation, but I think the turbo whistle got significantly louder after install...

will work on a 3rd gen 6.7, but not a 4th gen. 4th gen intercoolers are mounted low and are small.
