    No doubt
I am in NY and I believe I am good with the emissions when it comes to inspections
    Anybody know differently?

Do you live in an area that does not do emissions test/checks for registration renewal? That will have an impact on this decision as well.

Just saw your reply, that was my understanding also.
The only concern would a random emissions test we would still be forced to have the truck checked then.
But who is checking HD trucks? LOL

Should be good as long as you're not 'commercial' and sporting DOT numbers.

    Found this
    NYS DMV Diesel emissions testing
    https://dmv.ny.gov/inspection/diesel...teref2_skhceqt
States that any vehicle outside the Metropolitan area with a MGW ( max gross weight ) of over 8500 lbs will be exempt from emmision testing but could be subject to random testing.

    Okay,

Got the news from the dealer, the scoop is that the truck should have Regened on its own. What prevented it was a code for a clogged CCV filter.
$55 spent on new fleetguard CCV filter and we will see. Should have it by Saturday and take it for a ride and see if i can blow out some of this soot and get a Regen cycle started.

    Re: Regen

    Sorry,

Have not been back to this thread, but there have been some changes and i found someone to actually clean the NAC and the DPF and they were only an hour from me in CT. Good price also.

Waiting on new EGT sensors, unfortunately, they did make the transition as the O2 did.

    Will keep you updated.

Oh and bonus i get to keep the remaining 18 months of warranty i have left, you never know with that 68RFE.
