Finally doing the deletes on my 18

Did the full exhaust and egr delete on my 18 4500 C&C today. I’m convinced that FCA has guys engineering ways to make them difficult to delete. The egr delete from Glacier for the 2017 models works fine on the 2018 too. Only problem is you lose all your coolant with that plug that goes on the block. And it’s a nightmare to reach-and I’m 6’4. Also, when you lose that coolant be sure you have “FCA compatible” coolant to replace it with. That is why my truck is still on the ramp tonight and there not a video here of that beautiful Cummins music playing through that 5” straight exhaust. I’ll post some pics and vids tomorrow after I get the right juice in it.

Got done and fired her up today. About $90 later for factory antifreeze.

The 2017 egr delete works with no leaks.

Can’t get the videos to load. For some reason the exhaust brake sounds like it’s on all the time. Maybe a whistle tune or something. Not sure I’m a fan of that constant whistle though. If I understand correctly, the delete tuning cuts all of the egr stuff off even if you don’t unplug everything. I think I forgot the throttle valve or butterfly valve-whatever it’s called. The whistle sounds like the VGT is closing off slightly. Not sure. I sent Ray an email so I’m sure he’ll help me sort it out. I will say that running that MM3 with Double R’s tuning works like a charm. Good towing tunes for a work truck. I’ll recommend Ray and MM3 to anybody. Good products and good customer service. From the testing we did back in December through to the completed project has been a good experience.

I am the worst person because I am NOT tech savvy at all, just ask the others LOL, but what I had to do is download the video to YouTube then download on to here from there, please don’t ask for details cus I wouldn’t be able to give you specifics ( I did warn you LOL )but it did work! Hopefully others will chime in but until then you can try that, I’m sorry but that’s the best I can do. GOOD LUCK

First video is how it should sound all the time at idle. Second video it’s doing the whistle thing. Not sure about why that is. It’s not consistent. It’s actually 83 degrees outside on the 2nd video, so it’s not the warm up feature on the turbo.

Have you heard from @DoubleRDiesel yet?
First thing I would suggest is to reflash the ECM and make sure tje batteries are charged fully before starting.
