I'm a diesel Newbie and was wondering what this delete is for?
The purpose of the grid heater delete is provide more air flow. With the grid heater in place you have a grid that is in the path of the air flow and overtime it does get clogged up if you do not remove and clean it.
It is a good little mod to do but by no means will it make you feel like you made a huge adjustment LOL.
Google grid heater delete and take a look at some of the pics that come up.
