I wish, it is still in the box. I need to dig into this and get it installed along with a new water pump also sitting on my shelf. Once it happens I will let you know what I did.

Defiantly looking into a coolant filter for a future mod.
Had a kit installed on my 01 F250 7.3L PSD for over 200K miles.
It was amazing all the crap the first 3 filters trapped - after the 4th filter I quit cutting them open.

Just a note: The OEM water pump lasted almost 297K miles.
Average lifespan was said to be 150K.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this- seems like that return line in prior photo would go to coolant tank on firewall- so I’m guessing you could tap that and then return to tank again

Similar story with my 02 PSD. I am putting this on the list for my 12 6.7 Ram too.

So I finally installed the filter.... but went ahead and picked up the newer version that has a bracket to mount the filter.

If you purchase this get the cat filter, the wix one comes with the kit is too tall and will not fit.
