I've had problems with it turning on before but hadn't lately now.
I was wondering if it was my switch or a tune problem but I've never pursued anything because it all a sudden quit giving me problems.

17 model Bright White Ram 2500 4x4 with the G56 transmission.. All stock right now
I just ran into the same issue on my 2016 RAM 2500.
The cruise control worked fine, then I installed the MM3 and loaded the tune.
Another thing I did was go to "features" and I enabled fogs with high beams and programmed.
Now cruise control doesn't come on any more.
Has anybody found a fix for this problem yet?

OK I figured it out.
It has something to do with the exhaust brake.
If EB is used before trying to use CC, then CC won't come on.
But if truck is started without EB on and without turning EB on, then CC works fine.
I think I may have seen this problem before tuning, except I don't remember being able to make EB persistent across turning the truck off and back on before I loaded the tune.
Regardless, I know what to do now.
There seems to be a problem from the factory where using the exhaust brake somehow disables Cruise Control until a restart of the truck without the exhaust brake on or maybe it's just my truck.

@DRD?
Sounds like something specific to the truck as to what I don't know.
The cruise control should work whether the exhaust brake is active or not.
