The confusion is actually with the Haisley L19 studs that are "not an ARP product". Though it seems that the may be manufactured by ARP, the rep didn't say so. Anyway, those studs are meant specifically for a race application and are not recommended for a daily driver for the following reasons.
"L19: This is a premium steel that is processed to deliver superior strength and fatigue properties. L19 is a very high strength material compared to 8740 and ARP2000 and is capable of delivering a clamp load at 260,000 psi. It is primarily used in short track and drag racing applications where inertia loads exceed the clamping capability of ARP2000. Like most high strength, quench and temper steels – L19 requires special care during manufacturing to avoid hydrogen embrittlement. This material is easily contaminated and subject to stress corrosion. It must be kept well-oiled and not exposed to moisture."

    From ARP website: https://arp-bolts.mobi/p/tech.php?page=5

Additionally, the rep was adamant that there is absolutely no reason that the ARP2000 can't be reused multiple times as long as they are never overtorqued.

So at this point I'm really leaning more towards the 425 or ARP2000. Though the idea of being susceptible to corrosion over time concerns me, I also think that over that kind of time, the head studs wouldn't be the only part showing stress.

Found another article that could help a person on the fence. http://www.dieselarmy.com/engine-tec...e-right-studs/
Now I'm confused, that video clearly shows these studs in an ARP box...

I know it. And the studs in that box are neither black nor silver. I just don't see the benefit in ARP telling me there are no middle studs. Does somebody else want to try ARP?

has any one tried contacting Freedom Racing to see what they say? If they are not coming out with an intermediate stud then I guess I will be saving a little longer for the 625...just to be safe. Get it done once and get it done right. I like the piece of mind.
