I have a Fumoto drain plug and it’s worked perfectly.

Even though opening the valve to drain requires pressing on the handle while turning at the same time (so very safe and not ever likely to be opened accidentally) I simply pull a zip tie tight around the end of the valve after an oil change.

This prevents the valve from opening until the zip tie is cut off.

My Fumoto valve has worked perfectly also, what a great idea to put a zip tie on there to add a little extra protection, I have the plastic clip that does the same thing.

I've had the EZ once before. The one issue I had with it was loosing the screw in portion to drain it. The fitting that stays on the vehicle never leaked, and when I did drain it, it was easy and kept under control. But with the Fomoto valve, you can't miss-place/loose the part needed to screw in and start the drain process.

Oh, on my Fomoto valves un the beginning. the didn't have those plastic locking clips back then, and I used one of those squeeze type hose clips you use on hoses to barbed fittings. Worked great.
