To Dump or not to Dump...???

    I recently bought a '08 2500 and put a 5" straight pipe,turbo back (no muffler) exhaust on.
My question is , what are the pros and cons

Sorry. I didn't know what your were talking about until I looked at some videos. So, unfortunately I have no opinion. Or maybe fortunately I have no opinion.

I think a con would be it being a little louder in the cab but I guess if that don't bother you then it's just personal preference on if you don't or do like the tailpipe exiting behind the tire..

I only known of one person who has the axle dump exhaust end and that was a guy at the local coffee shop. He said he always liked it, but this was his first diesel. He says it's a pain in the a$$ with all the soot up under and when it swirls around collecting on everything. You sure you want it ? My exhaust is about 2 to 3 inches past my fender and I'm still scrubbing off what soot collects.

Oh, and I forgot to mention. He says whereever he parks, the area where he leaves has a circle of soot left. He parks it in his garage and has a sheet of plywood there to catch the soot where he can clean it off later instead of his concrete.

Hi, I just got my Flo-pro exhaust in prep to tune and delete my truck. I was considering an axle dump since I saw a 1st gen with a dump to a 12" tip. That thing looked like it had a rocket engine underneath it. I can't imagine how loud that truck must be to drive.
