I'm with everyone that thinks your exhaust is rubbing or binding against something when turning left. Crawl under and look for a scuff or rub marks. 5 inch can be tricky to get just right, and might have to just dent it some where and if you find a spot it's rubbing.

I still think I'd put it on jack stands, pull the tires off and give it a spin by hand. Sooner than later.
Good luck and keep us posted.

I keep forgetting about those 5" not fitting well. And noise has a funny way of transmitting from its origin unless you have a trained ear. But the way he's describing this, the exhaust would have to be hitting a rotating object like the drive shaft or the rear tire. Pretty hard to do. That and it's on the right side. I'm leaning away from the exhaust and more towards rotating hardware.

There's another thing that can cause that noise too. I think I mentioned this earlier. Tires. If a tire is cupping, or have a strange wear pattern in it, it can make you think you have a bad bearing or something like that. i just had a bout with my 4th wheel bearing on the left front. Replaced the knuckle this time. Now I have some cupping on the tire and a broken jack. Ugh. So I can't rotate them. If the alignment was out on the truck it will make the tire noisey too. Run your hand over the treads. See if you can feel some sharp edges. Try a tire rotation.

If he were closer, I would find it.

Currently dealing with this same exact issue. 6 degrees here and I don'e have access to a garage large enough to put it in. Good Luck! Definitely let us know what you find and I'll do the same!

Have a look at the plastic inner fender, it may have been moved when they fitted the exhaust...

Ok.. so this weekend I had the weather to do it. Rode it up on ramps crawled underneath and there it was. The Downpipe is only 1/8” away from the frame. So I took the inner wheel liner out and got a good look at it. So then got a scrap piece of ply put it between the trans and downpipe. Took an old 1/2” chisel and a 1lb hammer placed the chisel between the pipe and frame and went at it. Ended up with a almost 1/2” gap there now. Then moved to the back took the spare out removed the heat shield . Looked up and damn. I must have put the wrong exhaust grommet up there. Replaced it with the 3 holed grommet replaced everything and no more noises...note to self the push pins are a ***** in the wheel liner. Had to by new ones.

Glad you got it figured out. It's always the little noises, that are the most troublesome.
