That's correct. That's why you can do just the 4" delete pipe with your tuning and not have to replace the entire exhaust system.

2015 Ram 2500 with a majestic 6.7 Cummins and 68RFE. Fully deleted with MM3 and tunes from DoubleRDiesel. 5" Flo-Pro exhaust. S&B cold air intake. Custom sound system by Me. Proud American.

So once I get the MM3 and after i've sent the stock file to Double R, Would I be able to leave the MM3 plugged in until I get the delete pipe installed? I have a mechanic friend who has access to lift installing the pipe for me this summer.

Install the tuner. Get your stock file. Send stock file to DRD. They make the tunes. They send the tunes. You install the tunes and program your truck. Then you change your exhaust and such. Then drive away!

Just FYI, you can drive your truck as usual after getting the stock file. That process does not change the factory tuning. You just can't do your deletes until after your truck is programmed with the tune files they send.
