    EPA Laws?

What do you guys think the EPA laws will be like in the next decade regarding on-road diesel pickups? Will states begin adopting stricter regulations like California has? I'm wondering how that would affect the performance industry as well as local performance shops. It obviously wouldn't be good. What do you guys think?

Well I hope they abolish them because they are stupid. We should send our repair bills to them due to excessive wear LOL

    Re: EPA Laws?

I figure they’ll plateau for at least 8 years. Until we elect another Europe-loving socialist. I imagine the performance industry is gonna be ok. They need to roll these laws back. But I doubt we’ll get to see that.

I think they should do away with the EPA during the next decade. Their regulations have destroyed the longevity of some of the best engines ever built. I had a 12 valve several years ago with nearly 500,000 miles on it that had never been rebuilt and still ran pretty strong. My 2008 6.7 had about 250,000 and it was leaking oil at both ends and low on power. These 6.7 motors that are deleted are awesome motors but shoving that carbon back in the engine seems to kill my oil life.

Yeah glad I deleted mine around 36,000 miles. Here in my part of GA pine tree pollen is the worst thing we deal with. The EPA is just another money making branch of the federal government. Yeah some things are for the better but when they put pressure on manufactures they end up designing last minute crappy stuff and we (the consumer) pay for it.

Yep the consumers definitely pay for it!! Either pay to have it deleted or pay to have it fixed because of emissions equipment LOL. I feel like there's quite a few numbnuts out there who taunt the EPA by rollin coal and smoke tunes and all that so thanks to them as well. I read an article that said the EPA is satisfied with things right now so let's hope it stays that way

I just deleted my ‘12 this weekend. It rolls a little on maximum if I punch it. But over all. The truck is significantly better. It can breathe.

I agree... I don't see them rolling anything back but I think they have sucked all the life out of the anti-diesel campaign. Unfortunately, they will just move on to something else. They have to pester someone if they are going to stay employed.

    Ahhhh the EPA.

This can be a discussion that would consume the forum in every corner and every thread. One of the potentially important government agencies that can help the population, or, as it has traveled, one of the biggest agencies that has hindered and prohibited the population, taken the highest level of control of the general population .. while making elected officials re elected and rich.

In the EPSs forward travels, I expect to see the future generations of America coming out of the mothers womb and directly into a governemental control-able bubble for their entire life.

That is unless we keep more electing officials like Trump and not obama. Then we might have a possible chance to be actual human beings.
