    Ecodiesel

I read about several issues with the early engines with cam gear, rods etc. have those issues been addressed with 17’s and newer? Looking for a truck for my son who drives a lot of miles for his job but does not tow anything. Can’t afford a Cummins yet and doesn’t need a 2500 so looking at 1500 with hemi or ecodiesel

I'd like to hear what come up with this. Heard trucks like the Nissan diesel was having my issues and sales weren't what they wanted and trying to fix the problems. Not sure of the others though.

You're not going to find any for a while yet. The EPA hasn't recertified them after that VW deal.

Then there should be a flood of them soon. Unless the dealers have been hiding them. Chack and make sure they can be sold

Maybe because I'm old .. and watched sales verses original ideas .. I usually wait 5 years, re-evaluate then consider buying or not.
