Honestly I would steer clear of the Ecodiesel, one of my best friends works at a Dodge dealership and they are plagued with issues previously stated...
Smaller Pickup I would recommend the little Colorado or Canyon with the little Duramax, 30 mpg and most of the little issues are taken care of... Or buy a used Cummins would definitely be cheaper than a new Ecodiesel as well... Hope this helps...

Those Nissan Titans with the V8 Cummins are super nice trucks BUT, not to popular around here. I would say due to the really high price tag, and with being able to buy a Dodge with the Cummins and the size of the pickups are so similar in reality why spend the money for less of a truck "capability wise" for money...

    Re: Ecodiesel

I can tell you I had a 2015 Ram Eco Diesel that I bought new, and towed a 7K travel trailer with it and traded it in at 85K miles sometimes double towing motorcycle behind the TT. Only problem I ever had was a warranty covered crankshaft positioning sensor went out. Was a great truck with fantastic gas mileage and smooth operation with the 8sp trans. My wife currently has a Grand Cherokee 4x4 with the same setup EcoDiesel currently 37K with no issues. Doing regular oil changes and fluid checks. So far so good.
