    Exclamation 4th Gen Spots to Watch Under the Truck

    so I was doing a little under truck inspection and noticed some major crud and salt build up.

    There are several attached images. bottom of cab has 3 spots where the metal is overlapped poorly

    wheel wells as normal for dodge....... (one would think they have learned)

    and for us coil spring guys, the crossmember

    4th Gen Spots to Watch Under the Truck

    Might sound crazy but one of those yard sprinters that does the fan. Are perfect for things like this. Put on one end of truck and slowly pull or get the self running tracker types LOL.

    Also, I believe I saw a video of someone using a pressure washer attachment which washes concrete..turn it upside down and it will do a good job on the undercarriage of a truck.

    we have one here, I just can't use it in the winter when I really want to..... I am looking into seeing if they will let me take it home one weekend.

    It would help if you stayed on the roads.

    only offroad on that truck is at the farm.... I have washed it really well several times since last off road adventure to the fields as well.

    Yes, mine is a 16, and I wash it regularly. I think I will put it on a lift soon and blast the underneath with the pressure washer. Still need to under coat it, but will end up waiting till spring.

    4th Gen Spots to Watch Under the Truck

    There's a company (actually a couple) across the river in Sault, Ontario that sprays an oil on the underside, hinges, inside tailgate and other key places. Once a year it's sprayed off and recoated. Lots of guys up here, including me, have it done. Because of this, I can't go thru an automatic wash unless the underbody spray is turned off.
