I like to see where I’m actually spraying.
So I just get on the creeper and have the yard hose.
I like to use fluid film as a protector and preventive.

No better friend, No better enemy.
I use fluid film on everything from my truck to my lawn mower.
It works and its readily available.
The rattle cans are handy for equipment but a compressor does a much better job on the truck.
Best bet is to just use the good ol garden hose, you can't get those hard to reach places with a pressure washer.
My driveway has a nice little grade to it, I start at the front, wash out the whole frame, those little pockets on the rockers and work my way down, pretty amazing how stuff builds up in there.
My 2013 was coated by Krown 2 times . It was done when purchased and again 2 years ago frame and undercarriage look new still . I Power wash my work trucks weekly in the New England winters found a 90% nozzle attachment at home Depot that sprays straight up works great ! Makes a HUGE difference to keep a truck in the North east
Best thing to do is clean it really well and seal them gaps up with something.
A lot of people have had good luck with some Por15.
It seals and stops rust. Keep stuff from getting in the cracks and it won't be an issue.
2012 RAM 2500 Crew Cab SLT 6.7L.
Had a couple of Ram buddies whom really have high praises for the fluid film product.
Thinking about before next winter - giving the under carriage a coat.
