    Dead pedal issue

Today I let my truck idle for about 15 mins and when I pulled out I had a dead pedal. It was idling fine but no throttle. I put the scanner to it and it showed "lost communication to control module and lost communication with reductant control module". I disconnected the batteries for 5 mins and then plugged the tuner back in and fired it up and all was fine and it drove fine back home about 10 miles with no problems. Anybody have a like issue?

Was your tuner's RT configuration set to "every key on" or was an RT tune programmed in within the first minute of startup?

It was maybe 2-3 mins after start up, I fired it up and walked back and tossed a couple of things in the bed then got in and punched in the +60 tune and pulled out after it loaded.

That may have been close enough. Ecms do self checks right after startup and also during extended idling. If an RT write was done during an ecm self check, the ecm will get mad and shut off the throttle pedal. Once that happens, the ecm has to be reset by either disconnecting the batteries or programming it again to regain throttle.
