    Water in fuel light

I have a 2015 Cummins that been deleted. I am running a mm3 and I am getting a water in fuel light on once a week. It mostly happens when at idle. The truck will beep once light will come on and the truck will miss. This all happens in about a second or two. I have drained and changed the filters with no sign of water. I have add diesel clean just in case of water. Has anybody else have this problem? I don’t know if is caused by the tuning cause it didn’t start this until after I deleted it.

I had a similar problem, without the tuning though. Drained, drained and drained, changed out filters. Turned out to be a bad WIF sensor at the filter on the engine, but I ended up replacing both just in case. Geno's Garage had it to me in a couple of days. Hope this helps.

The other thing is corrosion on the connector. It will especially activate if the connector gets wet

Good point. Dielectric grease is your friend.

Especially when your brain charger isn't working.

Electrical is actually pretty simple. I cheat, I had 3.5 years of schooling on that schtuff. But nothing beats hands on experience. I'm a batter mechanic than engineer, but they both come in handy
