    Possible SD card related problem.

Fellas I've had my Raceme installed with deletes since 1/17 and all has been well. Last week on start up I got 2 red flashes 1 green 2 red and continues like that till I unplug it from OBD and plug it back in then it goes back to normal. This happened a couple of times during the week. So I updated the SD card to the latest which I hadn't done before and it updated the tuner. Well it did the red and green flash thing yesterday and today so I pulled the SD card out and will drive it without the card for a couple of days to see if the flashing thing occurs without card. I did read the FAQ on Raceme about the flash red and green that the card needs formatting to FAT but this is the factory card that came with it and the problem started on its own with out me every plugging into the computer. Sorry to be long winded but was wondering if this has happened to anyone and what was your solution. Thanks Ray

Reformat the card in FAT32 and reload the firmware files back on afterwards. If that does not fix, then it may be the micro usb cable at the monitor loosing connection from time to time.

Ok thanks. I was going to reformat it if didn't flash red and green without the card but was a little skeptical of all of sudden needing reformatted when it's been plugged into programmer the whole time. Thanks Ray

Since you are at it, if you have a micro-to-SD card adapter and an SD card reader load files with that vs using a micro-to-USB dongle bc they have been known to not work that great no matter the brand. Try and find one of those usb dongles on Amazon with solid reviews, bc its not possible.

    I had issues previously to

You'll probably be best getting a new decent SD card. Don't need a very big one. Format first to be safe
Then load all your files on to it

What I did to be safe after was reload my tune to the truck and was good to go

^^^^^ probably do that because I think the size of my card 2G that came with it isn't given me the option of FAT32

I used one of my old 1gb cards for a while and it worked just fine. Nobody sells them anymore really since everyone wants huge storage
