6” vs 7” tip..... Sound Different???

Just installed a new 7” tip. Does it sound any different to you? Both are 15” long.

Once running, it sounds the same to me.

Bigger tip sounded deeper at start up but both sound the same when idling. What do both sound like when you rev up on it?

The size difference in circumference is so minimal it is difficult to distinguish. Generally it should be a slightly deeper tone with a larger tip. Going from no tip to an 8 inch is vast

It’s definitely a deeper tone while driving.

It sounds good! I am a firm believer that an exhaust tip changes the sound. Had a 4-7 inch that made an lly duramax sound like a different truck. You should do a comparison video of no tip vs the 7".

    2016 2500 slt. 4x4. 20x10 moto metal 970s on 305-55-20. Fully deleted with mm3. 5 inch tbe.
