    Just for information

So i purchased a 2011 cummins earlier this year. I have the super chips turner that i used on my 2012 hemi they say will work on my cummins. My question is the super chips turner worth trying while i save save money for a tuner from Ray. The truck is all stock.

Just double check to make sure it will work with your truck from the manufacturer. It's free technically so worth a shot.

Yes I'm 100% certain it will work with my truck, just wandering if anyone has used them before. I guess I'm just wandering if long term usage can cause DFP issues, I've heard that a performance tune with egr delete may cause extra soot buildup.

Being that is a plug and play and made for all sorts of different applications it is safe to assume that it will cause extra soot build up over time. It is much healthier to delete as soon as possible and get some custom tuning. How many miles do you currently have on your truck?

Just echoing what Dude's said. If the Superchips supports your truck then go for it. Just be prepared that you can see increased Regens as you move to the higher hp tunes. And if you don't see enough long drive highway time then a clogged DPF is in your future as well.

I'm driving from Raleigh NC to Atlanta Georgia next week, may just try it out and see how it does. Beginning of the year I hope to be looking into deletes and tuning.

It'll do fine on a trip like that. Even around town it will be fine as long as you take her out and stretch her legs every once in a while. If they ever finish the construction on 440 you could just do a couple laps every week or 2

Haha!! Nope!! I moved to Raleigh in 1998. It seems like some part of 440 or another has been under construction since.
