After tuning, I would do the exhaust to get the truck in working order.

The other stuff can be done at your leisure.

I agree. These steps would all be performed in immediate sequence, not a span of time.

    So,
    1) Tune and test truck
    2) Remove DPF, install exhaust
    3) Install EGR bypass

When I do the initial tune in step 1, do I specify at that time that I don't have the DPF/EGR, or is that information typically built into the tune?

Does this mean I can be tuned for no EGR, but still have it installed(because I haven't gotten to it yet)?

When you install the tune it will automatically turn off the DEF/EGR.
    1) Tune and test
    2) Install Exhaust
    Everything else at your leisure.

If I decide to leave the DEF tank there, what do I do with the DEF injector? Just unplug it and make a cozy space in the garage for it with all the parts?

Yes just unplug the throttle valve as a precautionary measure.

You can zip tie it to the frame with the other connectors.

I saw kits that had a TV delete also. If I don't delete, why would I want to unplug it? I'm just not familiar with how that part works into the delete.

The tuning will shut it off but if it’s still plugged in there has been some instances where people have said it completely closed on them.
