I now have more downtime loss than I paid for the tuner. After owning Cummins for the past 25yrs, this is absolutely the worst experience ever... especially when the only help is across the pond, with an 8hr difference.
Ray does have customer support you can purchase if you like. Did you ask him about that?

I started trying to get in touch with Ray mid-December to purchase RaceMe... to no avail.

We just showed Ray this thread for you. He never saw it.

Let's see what he has to say about this friend.

OK. Let's see if we can get the truck running. Unhook both battery cables and let it sit a while. Unhook the Ultra from the OBD as well. Charge your batteries while you wait. Also make sure you don't have anything tied into the OBD like an OBD splitter as well...those things cause all kinds of havoc.

After she sits hook the cables back up. Ignition on. Go to the ecm menu and try to program the ecm with return the factory tuning option. It it all works like it should, it should flash in a built in recovery. If not, Franz most likely needs to provide you a special ecm recovery file that must be pasted into the data folder on the SD card. If the recovery works, then run your a truck a few minutes to allow the batteries to charge back up. Then program the RaceME tunes back in.

I would not use a charger while trying to flash the truck. If the voltage gets too high, that can cause issues too. @InRecovery

Very much appreciated (and to everyone else!) Franz just sent me a recovery file and I copied it to the data folder. Truck is "hopefully" back to normal. Ray, I sure wish I could have purchased through you, but I completely understand that you're a busy man and congratulate you for it!

Franz and the guys are quick to help. Sometimes like anyone else they get stuck trying to figure out a fix for things. In the end a bandaid doesn't always work it might take a heart transplant

Good to hear your up and running again
