They can replace mine if they want to. I will make it easy for them. They can send me a new DPF and NOx canisters and will send my old ones back to them in the same boxes. Easy peasy

I have a 2013 2500 mega cab. I just picked my truck up yesterday from dealership, they had to replace the DPF and NOx canisters. Truck has 65,270 miles. Ram has a book of repairs to emissions system on truck. Everything has been replaced except for EGR and cooler. Can't wait til extended warranty runs out and pull this crap off truck that is choking my engine. First 30,000 miles I was getting great fuel mileage around 18 to 19 city. 23 to 25 highway. Now 14 to 16 city and 18 to 19 highway.

If true ... I know could effect many here.
I haven't heard of anything concerning the Cummins in the HD trucks till I read this... However I've known for a couple of months that eco diesel production has been halted due to lawsuit against Fiat Chrysler. Some fart heads in California claimed that had proof that the factory programming for the eco diesels had a cheat strategy that raised NOx emissions while it yielded better fuel economy.

All this being said. If we are happy with our trucks being deleted, we know we lost our warranty, can they really make us turn our truck in for repairs, or buy it back from us even thow we want to keep it?

"A Seattle law firm alleges Fiat Chrysler and Cummins, an Indiana-based engine manufacturer, intentionally misled owners of Dodge Ram diesel-powered heavy-duty pickup trucks about their emission levels.

The class action case was filed Monday in federal court in Detroit by Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro. Four plaintiffs are named in the complaint, but Hagens Berman seeks to bring thousands of other owners into the case."

I believe the difference is that Volkswagen misled the government where as this states that Dodge misled Dodge Owners. I might be wrong but I think it's different scenario.

I didn't ask either. Not any part of the decision process.
