I think you need a bigger card if you plan on creating your own Warp files...I may be wrong about that though. @Double R Diesel?

I get the surging when I first start it too. I think it goes away when warm though. Too warm today in MN to test the exhaust brake warm up though.

2GB is plenty. That's enough space for multiple tune files.

Mine does it too right in inital start. Goes away almost immediately though

Just updated and loaded mine. Everything went smooth and I did not have to tune to stock first. I like seeing those extra degrees of timing back!

So what is causing the rattling? In a gasser I would call it pinging or pre-detonation. It may have been there before the delete but I could not hear it with all the stuff hooked to the exhaust?? I am running the stock setting for deletes. My main question is, will this hurt my engine? I have a run out to New Mexico coming up with around 15k in tow.

Diesels rattle. The combustion comes from pressure not spark. The newer trucks have taken many steps to quiet what takes place down. Modifying from the factory will make some changes in what you hear. My advise. Drive it bud!
