    New guy, Old truck:

Hey everybody, I'm a new guy on this forum. I like reading all the great info from fellow Cummins folks.

My 04, 5.9/six speed has 465,000 miles and counting. It's been the most amazing vehicle I've ever owned and still going strong.

I am looking at the 2019s as a possible replacement, anxious to see what they look like in the next couple of weeks!

Wow, my 2004 only has 221K miles! Very inspiring to see yours has performed well for so many more miles. Now I look forward to mine lasting even longer than I originally planned. i would be interested in a brief summary of major work you have done over those many miles: nbr times injectors replaced, ball joints, has transmission been replaced or rebuilt, any other major repairs. I'm still on my original injectors (only had it since 185K) and so far it has been pretty easy to maintain with regular fluid and filter changes, tires, etc.

    Welcome to the forum!!

I plan and hope to get that kind of milage out of my 03. I just hit 109000 last week. I have the 6 speed also and would not trade it for anything. I would also like to know what @Rockwood was asking major repairs ect. Thanks and good luck on getting a 19 soon
