    Questions about Ray's WARP tuning

    1. Do you get a flare when the tranny shifts from 3rd to 4th?

    2. Do you have 2nd gear lockup in tow/haul? If so, does it flare from 2nd to 3rd and lug at all?

    3. Does the tranny have issues holding gears while towing through town 30 to 45 mph in tow/haul?

    4. Does the tranny lug at all while not in tow haul cruising through town?

    5. When cruising through town, what is the norm for RPMs before it shifts from 2nd on up?

    6. Same question as #5 While pulling a load in tow/haul?

    1. Yes at times with any gear change once the TCC is locking. We can't keep the TCC locked between shifts thus the rpm flare at times.

    2. No, so we don't have that problem with the 2-3 change.

    3. No.

    4. Depends on the setup. Most guys end up preferring a little bit of lugging because getting into a higher quicker relatively quick helps get fuel economy. We can change that but fuel economy takes a dump.

    5. That's a hard question to answer because everyone's driving style is different and will yield different results.

    6. Still hard question to answer but likely the rpms will be higher because load will cause shift points to be higher.

Thanks. Is your tuning revmax approved? I have their valvebody.

Indeed so! To my knowledge I was first to be approved by them using a Warp.

Forum member @DanO has a Revmax 700 tuned with Warp. There are several others out there with Revmax Trans that I have tuned.
