    68RFE Tuning And Relearn?

Quick question for anyone that knows, I just got the EGR-Less MM3 from Double R Diesel along with the Revmax valve body, Goerend 15ss TC, and billet flex plate.

I was curious about the relearning of the 68RFE.

Does it need to do the relearned even if I'm not replacing any of the clutches?

Would going to the triple disc TC require a relearn?

Just curious since I know Ray's tunes reset and caused a relearn with the trans anyways.

Would the TC upgrade cause issues without relearning if I hadn't gotten the tuning?

If I'm not mistaken, you will want to do a relearn regardless so that everything will sync once it goes through the loops of relearning.

    Let's ask him as well.

Just a mere torque converter change wouldn't require a relearn.

It requires a relearning period when you program the truck's ECM and/or do a complete transmission install.

Quick question if I load my stock tune back to the truck and then load my tune back on the truck and drive it casually, is that considered to be the transmission relearn?

I’m having a hard downshift from 5 to 4, with no slipping.

You should follow the relearn procedure I posted for you earlier.

Sorry, I must have over looked it.

I’m not savvy on web or form sites, thanks.
