    gliche on the RP psi read out

    Is anyone having this issue on startup of the truck. The rail pressure max is reading this outrageous number. I fix it by pressing the RP psi screen as if I am wanting to change to some other read out and then immediately press the exit button to not make the change and everything goes back to normal. Any idea on the gliche.

    Mine has done the same thing since I bought it. Mine happened if I let the truck sit to long with the key in the on position it would start doing that. No idea why it does it.

    @Polaraco RP is "rail pressure".

    May God have mercy on me for saying this ... but I agree with @Polaraco ...
    What the heck does RP stand for on your unit ???
    Us older owners own older vehicles and don't have those new fandango electronic items like you younger people do.

    And @Yamaha ... if you think your unit doesn't read correctly on certain settings, I'd be contacting my supplier in one quick hurry. These units are cheap, and the warrantee isn't for life, is it ?

    Nothing to do with the Unit being faulty at the least I think it's just how it reads rail pressure when you are wide open throttle. I don't know how it reads the rail pressure im guessing some factory sensor or something. So if you would want exact and precise maybe put a real rail pressure gauge on it? i just use it for refrence to keep me from being to hard on it pulling hills and what not. It's not cheap nor does it require a warranty claim just a understanding of what your working with.

    My rail pressure don't do that but my boost gauge reads off any time I use the rt feature or unplug it and plug it in. And nearly every afternoon it's overheated sitting in my truck and don't work for the first 10-20 min driving till it cools down and I unplug it and plug it back in. Then the boost reads off. Besides that everything else has worked.

    Re: gliche on the RP psi read out

    Has anyone heard if there is going to be an update to fix some of the minor glitches on the ultra? I already have the latest update, but there still needs to be work done. With the key in the ON position my rail pressure numbers are showing in the millions and are jumping erratically. When I start the truck that stops, but my max still is reading that crazy number. I have to click on that parameter and exit back out and it resets those max numbers. It not hurting anything but it gets old when you have to do this just about everytime you start he truck. I saw on another post that there were others having this exact same thing happening.
