DRD Tuned Cummins Smoking Heavily at Higher Elevation

I have a 2015 RAM 2500 CC 4x4 that has been tuned and deleted since 6k miles.

All I have is the 30HP tune on the MM3.

I recently got a project in northern Colorado and the truck is rolling some coal on acceleration.

Should I have my truck re tuned for the elevation?

No changes in tuning for elevation.

Elevation has less oxygen, so therefore the engine may smoke more until boost kicks in.

However you may want to check your air filter and fuel filters.

If either of those get restricted, then that can cause a loss in performance and more smoke.

    Thanks Ray.

I’ve had your tune on the truck for over 50k miles without any problems.
