    Oil Change/Fuel Filters

New cummins/diesel owner. Fill me in on fuel filters. I got the 2016 6.7 3500. Deleted before I bought it. When I got the truck I noticed the replace fuel filter message. Does a deleted truck require a special type of fuel filter at all? Anything I need to know when replacing a fuel filter myself? ECT. I'm overall pretty ignorant about diesels in general. So any pointers are greatly appreciated.

When you bought the deleted truck, it only effected the emission system.
Oil, fuel and other systems are the same, unless they made changes with those systems.

    53034051AB diesel air filter
    5083285AA diesel oil filter
68197867AA fuel filter - frame mount
68157291AA fuel filter - engine mount

OEM Mopar filters. The fact the truck is deleted will not affect anything as far as what parts to use, and may extend your oil change intervals.

I run the 5w-40 Rotella year round and oil samples are great.
