    transmission cooler

I have a 2012 3500 dually with the 6.7 and I do a lot of heavy hauling with it was wondering if there was any good aftermarket transmission coolers to help with keeping the transmission cool with the high temperatures in Texas for summer

These are great. I'm running two in addition to the factory one up front on mine.

I didn't install them, had the same company that built my transmission do the coolers while my truck was on the lift. Pretty sure this is it.

I have it hooked to a switch so i can control when it comes on . I use it mainly when plowing the constant first and reverse heats things up real fast. I just love it

yes i still have the factory one hooked up. the unit came with a thermostat (which i didnot install) that slips in to the factor radiator (goes between the fins)and when it hits 190 the fan kicks on. what i did was hooked the power up to a toggle switch which i ran into the cab( cause i only really need it when i'm plowing ).

Ok cause I pull a 51 foot trailer so I pull weight all the time and it runs 195+ in summer and if I'm in stop and go traffic it goes up to 240+ so I'm trying to save my tranny

it should do the trick, if not you could always run 2 like @Purn1973 did.
