Coolant Y pipe

Well after talking with bmp and them telling me they are still 3-4 weeks out on getting them i went to buy a stock piece from the dealer. They ended up giving me the wrong piece and there is a y pipe on the bottom of the rads as well. So i couldnt use it but my buddy saw something. The coolant was leaking because of the plastic clamps holding on the hose to the plastic y pipe. He cut the plastic clamps off and we put normal clamps on the hose to hold it on the ypipe. Seems to have fixed my problem. IM going to tow my buggys this weekend i'll update if it leaks but i don't think it will. SO basically instead of spending $110 i spend $2 on 2 clamps. Hopefully this fixes it!

cut the plastic bands on the y pipe but make sure not to cut the hose:

Put clamp around and it should look like this:

Stupid *** plastic clamps are you kidding me glad you hopefully got it fixed steel metal hose clamps the only way to go

Well it started leaking again. I'm so confused. I have no idea where its leaking from. Its literally on the clamps. I think its still coming out of the hose somewhere.
