Long time diesel fan, my ex fatherinlaw had a bunch of cummins. I have a VW golf TDI and am finally getting a cummins. A baby cummins though. I am beginning the process of putting a 4bt in a 2001 dodge durango. I am planning for it to be a road trip adventure vehicle with some light offroading and may pulling a small rv around too. Im here for generall diesel knowledge and also for some parts. Ill be looking for a lot off parts of trucks with the 6bt I am sure.

Hello everyone Just signed up today. Bought a new 2018 3500 Laramie in Nov. Traded in my 2001 2500 Slt with 83000 org. mi. ( truck only lasted 3 days before it was sold) for a 2018 Laramie 3500. I love the truck the power and comfort are awesome. Want to keep it stock except for a valve body and tune. Was told if you treat the 68RFE right. It will treat you right. So that's what I am hoping for. Went through 2 trannys on my 2001. I am retired and have to watch my budget. So I won't be beating on it. But I will drive it and every one knows a Cummins likes to be driven. Need to get educated on trans tuning a stock trans to make it last.
