We would delete it and get a tuner.

Well with the G56 I'm not sure that only s tune and delete will give you better mpg. Mine didn't. But a better clutch may help you run a higher tune to get better mpg

Generally speaking, being a '13, you can only expect to gain 1-2 mpg by deleting. Some get more or less based on driving style and the condition of the emissions system.

Are you saying that when towing 9800 pounds you only get 10mpg? If so, that's not that bad. My truck is deleted and our camper sits between 9k and 10k depending on the trip. I typically get around 12mpg when pulling as long as a stay under 70mph.

Agree delete and never look back! I tow around 11K-12k hauling my tractor with a front end loader and box scrape with my 3500 with a G56 and average around 13-14 mpg. I haven’t yet towed since I deleted a few weeks ago. Hoping my numbers will go up! I have already seen an increase on my mileage just normal driving from around 16-17mpg (when the cooker was on)and filled up yesterday and hand calculated at 18.8 mpg.

The performance parts for sure will help ya out but like stated a clutch won't be a bad idea as well. It will help you put all that power to the ground more effiecently. Every little bit helps when trying to get these MPG's up.

Delete and Tune is the only way you are going to gain any MPG's. Don't expect huge gains though. My camper weighs about 9,000lbs and I get anywhere from 11-14 depending on how windy it is, how hilly it is and how much i'm in the skinny pedal.

Thanks everyone, think I'll try the clutch first, right now highway I'm averaging 20.5 here in the mountains on highway not towing and when were In Florida in early June I averaged 25mpg not towing, I jus thought i would do better mileage towing, I was getting 8.8 puling this same camper with a 5.4 ford f150 that I traded for this truck. But a little better mileage is better than no better mileage
