Bog under acceleration then hard shift.

So, maybe someone has come across this. When I accelerate sometimes the, what feels like transmission will downshift. Bogs a bit, doesn't want to bring RPMs up at all. Then hard shifts to the next gear and all is normal again. Anyone have that happen to them?

Not sure why it bogs. The hard shift comes because you are pressing the throttle harder trying to make it go. The transmission will shift harder because it thinks your making more torque than you actually are. The PCM makes a shift firmness calculation based on perceived torque/throttle input.
